As Christians, we are each a work in progress.

You don’t have to be perfect to be a Christian.

The word Christianity is not synonymous with the word perfection.

This is not to say we have a license to live anyway we like. It means that we acknowledge our imperfection and are wiling to allow God to transform us into the character of Christ. Only Jesus Christ is perfect. We Christians are being perfected- we undergo a process of becoming more like Christ daily.

Each day is a new opportunity to allow the Holy Spirit to develop more of Christ’s character in you. So next time you fail or make a mistake, don’t forgot that you are God’s masterpiece and He is faithful to complete the work He started in you!!
